At Mobility Plus we provide a range of services in the Galway area. On this page we have compiled a list of information relevant to your area including where we cover, grant information and the various types of stairlifts that we offer.
For stairlift grants, you can be entitled to a grant which can cover up to 100% of the price of getting a stairlift under the Housing Adaptation Scheme. The process involves filling out a form with your local housing authority in Galway. The process on getting grants can take a number of months and they will usually send an OT out to assess your needs first.
Once they approve you for the grant they will normally request you get 3 quotes from stairlift companies so they can receive a competitive price based on your needs.
