Straight stairlifts are more simpler than the curved models and can be installed in a matter of 2-3 hours.
Curved stairlifts can take 1-2 days to install depending on the configuration required.
We would require a socket within a few metres of the top or bottom of the stairs. If there is no socket available then we can provide one for you for an additional cost.
All our stairlifts are mounted on the stairs and not the wall. Doing it this way ensures it is secure and does not damage your walls.
All our stairlifts are powered off a 24 volt battery system. This ensures that the stairlift runs even during a power cut.
The stairlift charges automatically at both the top or bottom of the stairs. For some curved stairlift models you may need to send the lift back down a few feet to its charging point. It’s as simple as stopping on the charge point and it will recharge itself.
Our stairlifts come with a key switch which will prevent children from using it.
Local authorities provide grants under the housing adaptation scheme. You can also get any VAT you pay back with revenue. See our Grants / Areas page.
All our stairlifts have both manual and powered swivel seat options.
If there is a door at the bottom of your stairs immediately next to the staircase, then we can provide a hinge option which allows the rail to be stowed to avoid a trip hazard.
Our stairlifts come with a large amount of safety areas. Firstly, we run on DC powered 24 volt systems, we have a large amount of safety sensors amongst other innovating safety features.
